Sexploration Topic of the Month: Compersion

Welcome to the FIRST "Sexploration Topic of the Month"!

This months topic is COMPERSION, which I truly feel will be a fantastic topic to explore during the month when most of us start thinking about making New Year's Resolutions; except that you'll likely want to keep this resolution.

Compersion, at it's core, is when we experience love, appreciation, adoration & joy when someone we love experiences those same vibrations with other people.
It's considered the opposite of Jealousy, and covers everything from that feeling you get when:
*you're child has their first puppy love crush when they're young
*Adult children they get married
*Siblings, close family members or bff's are in a sickingly sweet honeymoon phase with their partner.
*We see our partner or spouse having a great time with their bff.
*When a friend, family member or lover wins a prize, earns an award or experiences some really good luck.
*We notice or partner or spouse enjoys a harmless flirtation with someone else.
*(for those with non-traditional relationship dynamics) you hear about or experience your partner feeling loved or being loving when with or talking about their other intimate, romantic andor sexual relationships.

Basically, Compersion is about learning to cultivate a relationship based on love without condition: a relationship goal that benefits all lovers who pursue it.

With Compersion, the idea is to learn to recognize that whenever we feel afraid, upset, inadequate, abandoned, jealous andor lonely; regardless of what triggered it from within us, that those feelings indicate that we need to work on ourselves, and not that we need to work on making our partners change just to make us feel better.

This is especially true when it comes to experiences these feelings in our intimate relationships, for any reason.
